Our 2025 team auditions feature three unique choreographies, each designed to highlight different styles, energies, and aspects of your dance identity. You’ll learn them on the spot — no prep needed!
1. Heels Choreo
Fierce, feminine, and full of confidence. This combo focuses on musicality, lines, and empowered self-expression. Don’t worry if you’ve never danced in heels before — just bring your attitude and authenticity.
2. Mambo/Salsa
Classic, rhythmic, and full of flavour. This combo blends Salsa footwork with Mambo technique — fast, precise, and grounded in musicality. Whether you're familiar with one or exploring both, this choreography will challenge your timing, coordination, and flair.
3. Bachata
Smooth, sensual, and expressive. This bachata combo highlights body movement, fluid transitions, and emotional connection. A perfect opportunity to showcase your musical interpretation and personal style.
Each piece is a chance to explore your artistry, connect with your body, and show us how you vibe with the Gem Dance spirit.
Audition Fee: $10 This helps cover space rental and includes a full combo class. Think of it as a chance to train, vibe, and get a feel for the team — with zero pressure.
